Connecting
Through being an Aggie Mom we are connected to other Aggie Moms, TAMU, our Aggie students and the community of Aggies in Austin. We have fun and fellowship at our monthly meetings, parties, and an annual luncheon honoring our past presidents. We learn about TAMU through guest speakers from TAMU. We get to meet Revielle at Howdy Night. As a member organization of the Federation of Texas A&M University Mothers' Clubs we are connected to Aggie Moms nationwide.

Abbott Family Leadership Conference.
Ladies, the AFLC is looking for a few good homes and drivers! Please consider being a host family for two or more delegates from the evening of February 18 through the morning of the 20th. You will have limited responsibilities for entertaining them but they do need a place to sleep and transportation to their meetings. If you can help, please contact Karen Allen.

THE WORLD FAMOUS TEXAS A & M SINGING CADETS will be returning to Austin on January 15th. We are fortunate to be the only Aggie Moms’ Club to host this prestigious group each year. In order to continue to have this enormous fund raiser for our scholarship fund, we need everyone’s help. Each member will receive 6 tickets to the concert. We are asking that you sell the tickets to friends, family or any lover of music! You may sell more six if you wish. In fact, we encourage you to. I usually purchase the six as stocking stuffers for the Aggies on my Christmas list. They love it. My workplace is always a great place to sell extra tickets. It is amazing who loves good music and especially such showmen as the Singing Cadets. Just ask! If you would like to help with the many duties on the committee, please contact Sue Frederick at suefrederick@sbcglobal.net. She would be happy to hear from you. All members are requested to help the night of the concert with ticket taking, greeting, cookie sales and assisting guests to their seats. It is a great evening of entertainment and fun. Mark your calendars.

Mentoring Mom for New Aggie Moms
