2008 Merit Scholarship Awards
The Austin Texas A&M University Mothers’ Club awards several Merit Scholarships each year to current Texas A&M students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic standing and involvement in sanctioned or approved Texas A&M University organizations and community outreach programs. The awards are not based on financial need, or affiliation with the Austin Texas A&M University Mothers' Club. However, applicants must be from the Austin area.
Merit Scholarships will be awarded this Spring by The Austin Texas A & M University Mothers' Club.
New Austin Aggie Moms Endowed Scholarships
We are pleased to announce the full funding for our endowed scholarship. Through the generosity of the Sam W. and Mary Richards Martin estate gift our funds were matched. The Austin TAMU Mothers’ Club is now able to award two $1000 Aggie Leader scholarships annually with our one $25,000 contribution. Our timing was perfect … this is fantastic! The scholarships will be administered by the TAMU Office of Financial Aid but is available only to Austin area students.
