2009 Merit Scholarship Winners
We are very excited and proud to announce our 2009 Merit Scholarship Recipients. We had a record number of 29 applications in 2009. Our club was pleased to award 10 scholarships. These winning students had good grade point averages, written essays, leadership skills, community service activities and held jobs while in school or during breaks.

Austin Aggie Moms Endowed Scholarships
In 2007, we announced the full funding for our first endowed leadership scholarship, the J. Malon Southerland Leadership Scholarship. The Austin TAMU Mothers' Club is now able to award two $1000 Aggie Leader scholarships annually. The scholarships are administered by the TAMU Office of Financial Aid, but is available only to Austin area students. Applications are online through the Financial Aid general scholarship application and are due February 1st.

Endowed Scholarship Winner - Spring 2008
Kori Chiang Wilson is the recipient of the Austin Texas A&M Mothers' Club J. Malon Southerland Aggie Leadership Scholarship of $1000 for the year.
