Merit Scholarships
The Austin Texas A&M University Mothers' Club awards several Merit Scholarships each year to current Texas A&M students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic standing and involvement in Texas A&M University organizations and community outreach programs. The awards are not based on financial need, or affiliation with the Austin Texas A&M University Mothers' Club. However, applicants must be from the Austin area.
2012 Merit Scholarships will be awarded in Spring 2012 by The Austin Texas A & M University Mothers' Club.
2012 Merit Scholarship Winners
Winning students had good grade point averages, written essays, leadership skills, community service activities and held jobs while in school or during breaks.

Austin Aggie Moms Endowed Scholarships
In 2007, we announced the full funding for our first endowed leadership scholarship, the J. Malon Southerland Leadership Scholarship. The Austin TAMU Mothers' Club is now able to award two $1000 Aggie Leader scholarships annually. The scholarship is administered by the TAMU Office of Financial Aid, but is available only to Austin area students. Applications are online through the Financial Aid general scholarship application and are due February 1st.

Goody Bags Due Oct. 31st!
The Austin Aggie Moms offer their members the opportunity to order a morale booster before exams in the form of bag with snacks and a restaurant gift card for their student. We call these Goody Bags and your student's bag will contain at least twenty snack items plus a $5 gift card for a restaurant within walking distance of campus.
